Kashif Siddiqi

Since making his debut on the international circuit and playing in the 2008 Olympic Qualifiers in Beijing, Kashif Siddiqi has become widely known as Pakistan’s “football globetrotter”. His journey with sport has indeed taken him down many different paths and he has achieved a number of social goals along the way: Kashif is one of only a handful of British South Asian players to have made it into the professional ranks.

Kashif has always been aware of the role he can play in challenging the under-representation of South Asians in sport and promoting equality and education for girls. He has set up the Kashif Siddiqi Foundation (KSF) for this cause and is also the co-founder of the Football For Peace movement, which promotes education through sport at the international level by hosting “peace matches” alongside the United Nations.
